Pennie Opal Plant, one of the co-founders of Idle No More SF Bay, tells us the story of how she started the Society of Fearless Grandmothers, joined by the 1000 Grandmothers Bay Area, who put themselves on the frontlines – holding off police for 5 hours so climate protectors and protestors could complete a 2,500ft long mural on climate justice! An Indigenous Grandmother who teaches us about fearless love and compassion and taking a stand for Mother Earth.
